At the very heart of the medieval city of Pérouges, this beautiful inn, comprising a number of very old houses, looks out onto a perfect little cobbled square. Stone stairs, stained glass windows, mullion windows, traditional French ceilings and fireplaces… nothing is missing.
The Manoir bedrooms (4-Star) boast superb period furniture and marble bathrooms. The ones situated in the Pavilion are a little less magnificent (3-Star), but are still finely furnished, and all perfectly restored to provide excellent comfort. The cobbled streets are lined with houses and occasional tiny gardens or overgrown ruins.
All of them eventually lead to the main square and the restaurant. Here again, the medieval tone is required : wide floorboards, kneading troughs, fine old sideboards, a cavernous fireplace with huge burning logs… all this builds up the appetite for some regional cuisine served in traditional dress.
